Terms of Service

National People's Conference 2026 (ZANU-PF) Last updated: 4 October 2026

These terms apply to the National People's Conference 2026 web portal and the NPC 2026 mobile app (together, the "Service"). By creating an account, registering, or using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who can use the Service

The Service is for delegates, officials, staff, vendors, sponsors, media and other people taking part in the National People's Conference 2026. You must be at least 18 years old. You must give accurate information when you register and keep it up to date.

Creating an account does not mean you are attending. Your registration must be reviewed and approved, and your digital pass issued, by the conference organisers before you can access conference-only features such as your pass, accommodation and transport details, and the programme.

2. Your account

  • You are responsible for keeping your password and your device secure.
  • Do not share your login with anyone else.
  • Tell the Registration desk straight away if you think someone else has accessed your account.
  • You may delete your account at any time (see section 9).

3. Digital passes and accreditation

  • Your digital pass (the QR code shown in the app or on the web) is personal to you. It is not transferable.
  • Do not copy, photograph, screenshot, forward or post your pass or another person's pass.
  • You must show your pass when asked at entry points, zone checkpoints, accommodation facilities and when boarding a conference bus. Security staff may check your identity against your pass.
  • The organisers may suspend, revoke or replace a pass at any time, for example for security reasons, a change in your registration, or misuse. A revoked pass will stop working.
  • Accreditation is granted at the organisers' discretion and does not guarantee access to any particular session or area.

4. Accommodation and transport

  • Accommodation and bus seats are allocated by the organisers based on your registration, province and availability. Allocations may change, and the organisers will try to tell you before they do.
  • If you are assigned to a bus, you must board the bus shown on your pass. Boarding is checked by the bus coordinator.
  • Please let the organisers know as early as possible if you cannot attend, so your room or seat can be released.

5. Conduct at the conference

You agree to:

  • follow the instructions of organisers, marshals and security staff, and the venue's rules;
  • not bring weapons or dangerous items into conference venues or vehicles;
  • not use the Service to harass, threaten, impersonate or abuse anyone, or to share unlawful or hateful content;
  • not attempt to access systems, accounts or data that you are not authorised to use, interfere with the Service, or try to bypass security checks or scans;
  • not use automated tools to scrape or overload the Service.

The organisers may remove your access, end your accreditation and refer matters to the appropriate authorities if you breach these rules.

6. Photography, filming and media

The conference will be photographed and filmed. By attending, you agree that images and recordings of you taken at conference events may be used in conference communications and in the Media Centre, unless you tell the Media Centre in writing that you do not want to appear. Where practical, the organisers will avoid focusing on individuals who have objected.

7. Programme and changes

The programme, venues, times, speakers and facilities are subject to change. The organisers will publish updates through the Service where possible. Notifications sent through the app or web inbox are part of the Service.

8. Third-party services

The Service uses third-party services, including Google Firebase (for push notifications), map tiles from OpenStreetMap, and fonts from Bunny Fonts. Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms and privacy policies. If you download the mobile app from the Apple App Store, Apple's standard licence terms also apply to your use of the app. Google Play terms apply to the Android version.

9. Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time from the Profile screen in the mobile app, or from the Profile page on the web portal. Deleting your account permanently removes your login, registration and digital pass. Some records must be kept for security, audit and legal reasons; these are handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

10. Availability of the Service

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. The organisers do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access, and some features may be limited when you have no connection. Always follow the instructions of conference staff, even if the app or website shows something different.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the organisers are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from the unavailability of the Service, from changes to the programme, or from your failure to keep your login or pass secure. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under Zimbabwean law.

12. Suspension and ending these terms

The organisers may suspend or end your access to the Service if you breach these terms or if needed for security. You may stop using the Service at any time by deleting your account.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe. Disputes will be dealt with by the courts of Zimbabwe, unless the law requires otherwise.

14. Changes to these terms

The organisers may update these terms. We will show the new date at the top of this page and, for material changes, tell you through the Service before the change takes effect. Continued use after that means you accept the updated terms.

15. Contact

For questions about these terms, use the Help & Support page of the Service.
